V-Bar has grown a strong reputation as one of the best venues for live music in Colchester. Almost weekly, V-Bar puts on live bands in both our downstairs and upstairs bars showcasing talent from brand new, up-and-coming acts, to established local and national bands, to covers bands and acoustic acts. Covering a wide range of music such as heavier rock and metal on our ‘It’s Not For Chav’s Tuesday’ events, awesome indie and rock infused bands on ‘The Thursday Dropout’ nights and anything from blues, funk, covers and acoustic on Friday’s.
